Essentials of Facilitative Mediation - May 2026

A dynamic 2-day workshop featuring trainers Steffanie Medina, of Flow, LLC, and Samantha Watkins, of Solve Consulting and Mediation, LLC. With more than 25 years of combined experience in the field, these trainers offer a comprehensive introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of facilitative mediation. This course is meant for anyone interested in expanding their communication skills and learning how to prevent, manage, and resolve conflict.

A portion of the proceeds will go toward the local nonprofit, CDRSLO, a new nonprofit center for dispute resolution on the Central Coast.

Live In-Person Sessions - May 26th - 27th, 2026 - in San Luis Obispo

• Tuesday May 26th 9:00am - 4:30pm

• Wednesday May 27th 9:00am - 4:30pm

Participants will receive a certificate of completion for 14 hours of basic mediation training. Those interested in extending their learning often choose to join the Facilitative Leadership Working Group post-training. Learn more here.
